This week Mao's Last Dancer, Cats and Dogs: Revenge of Kitty Galore, and Going the Distrance can be seen at Mini Max in Paarl (1-7 October).
* Mao's Last Dancer is a drama bused on the autobiography of Li Cunxin. At the age of 11, Li was plucked from a poor Chinese village by Madama Mao's cultural delegates and taken to Beijing to study ballet. Im 1979, during a cultural exchange to Texas, he fell in love with an American woman.
* In the movie Cats and Dogs: Revenge of Kitty Galore, the ongoing war between the canine and feline species is put on hold when they join forces to thwart a rogue cat spy with her own sinister plans for conquest.
* Going the Distance is a romantic comedy centred on a guy and a gal who try to keep their love alive as they shuttle back and forth between New York and San Franciso to see one another.
