Athletics achievers to be acknowledged

THE prestigious 2010 Coca Cola 5 Star Achiever Award Function will take place on Friday 12 November on the Picardie Guest Farm in Paarl. All athletics achievers in 2009 and 2010 will receive acknowledgements from Boland Athletics - a highlight of the 2010 Boland athletics season. Boland athletes won more than 80 medals at national and international level during 2010 alone and they will all be present at the award function. Coaches, technical officials and administrators who supported the athletes will also be acknowledged at the function. Achievement awards will be presented in 8 categories, namely, athletes, coaches, technical officials, administrators, sponsors, clubs and presidential awards. The criteria to qualify for a 2010 Coca Cola 5 Star Achiever Award are available at the Boland Athletics office or at the local athletics clubs. All members of Boland Athletics can submit applications to be presented with the prestigious 2010 Coca Cola 5 Star Achiever Award before 22 October.
