A DRAKENSTEIN municipal employee who had been using a municipal vehicle for a private outing outside the boundaries of the Municipality recently, then crashed the Nissan 1400 bakkie on the N1 near Kraaifontein.
The Municipality confirmed the name of the driver who is being investigated as Lodewyk Jonkers.
But since publication of the report it has been ascertained that the driver of the vehicle was in fact Hendrik Lodewyk.
