* Fondsinsameling. Op Saterdag om 19:00 tree die N2 Jazz band in Worcester by die Brandvleisaal op ten bate van Kimberley Meiring. Kimberley is outisties. Kostes beloop R50 per persoon. Daar sal ook braaikos te koop wees teen R30 ’n bord. Skakel 023-347-2833.
* Diens.Op Sondag om 08:30 en 10:00 is ds Hwa Yung aan die beurt tydens die eredienste van Suider-Paarl Gemeente (Courtrai). Hy is een van die 4 500 afgevaardigdes uit 198 lande wat vanjaar saamtrek in Kaapstad vir die derde Lausanne kongres in verband met wêreld-evangelisasie.
* Borsondersoeke. KANSA in samewerking met Paarl Medi-Clinic sal gratis borsondersoeke aanbied as deel van Borskanker bewustheidsmaand. * Beer Fest. The Caledon Beer Fest kicks off in the town centre at Donkin Plain in Caledon at 18:00 on 29 October and the official part of the programme will carry on until 22:00. Saturday’s fun will start at 12:00 at The Caledon Casino, Hotel and Spa Amphitheatre and will carry on until 22:00. Tickets for Friday are R25 and those for Saturday cost R50. * Competition. Miss Drakenstein Festival of Lights 2010 will take place on 20 November at the Paarl Town Hall. The competition is open for girls between ages 16-25.
