THE Grande Provence Wine Estate in Franschhoek has brought home further wine awards presented to legendary winemaker, Jaco Marais, at the Austrian International Wine Awards.
They received gold medals for the Grande Provence Sauvignon Blanc 2010, Cabernet Sauvignon 2007 and Shiraz 2007, with a silver medal for the Grande Provence Chardonnay 2009.
At the Mundus Vini International Wine Awards, held in Germany, the Grande Provence Sauvignon Blanc 2010 was awarded its second international gold medal.
South Africa received 20 gold medals in total.
