THE Stellenbosch Municipality proposes to extend the Wemmershoek Wastewater Treatment Works, and decommission the Franschhoek Wastewater Treatment Works, following the construction of a transfer outfall sewer between the two works.
The Draft Environmental Impact Assessment Report for the proposed development has been prepared and is available until 15 November at the Franschhoek Municipal Library and the Wemmershoek Wastewater Treatment Works

The Final Environmental Impact Assessment Report aims to provide the Department of Environmental Affairs and Development Planning with sufficient information to issue an Environmental Authorisation.
