DO you have unwanted electronic waste? A Paarl business, Ecycle, presents a special recycling day for e-waste on Saturday 6 November from 09:00 to 14:00 when they will accept all unwanted electronic items free of charge.
E-waste is any item which runs on batteries or is plugged into the wall, which is broken. This ranges from household items to computers. Between 300 en 400 million items of electronic waste is dumped annually, of which only about 20% is recycled. By recycling e-waste, you can make a contribution to the welfare of Mother Nature.
