REPRESENTATIVES of Grade 11 students from ten local schools will gather in Paarl on Sunday morning 14 November to discuss their expectations for Matric 2011.

Students and parents will discuss their respective roles to ensure success in their matric year, and what commitments must be made.

The event is organised by Winelands District Council and will run from 09:00 to 12:00. Facilitators will lead the discussion and the morning will end with the signing of commitments and declarations by parents and learners.

A similar event will be held in the Franschhoek Town Hall on Saturday 13 November.
