A RUNNER was attacked on Paarl Mountain on Sunday around 13:00. The attacker tried to strangle the woman, but she managed to fight him off and ran away after flinging her sunglasses into a bush.
The shocked runner from the USA would like to warn other ahtletes that even on a Sunday where there is constant traffic on Jan Phillips Drive, there are criminals looking out for victims.
