A UNIQUE season of top entertainment under the stars kicks off in the Oude Libertas amphitheatre in Stellenbosch on 26 November. Book your ticket at the theatre (021-809-7380 /7473) or at Computicket and share the pleasure of this great summer tradition.
* On 26 and 27 November enjoy Nataniël’s Gala Concerts. He brings along a huge ensemble consisting of Nicolaas Swart (vocals), Tanya Tait (vocals), Tonia Selley (percussion and vocals), Charl du Plessis (piano and vocals), Juan (Floors) Oosthuizen (guitar and vocals), Werner Spies (double bass), Hugo Radyn (drums) and an eight piece string section.
* From 1 to 4 December La Rosa Spanish Dance Theatre sets the stage alight with Celebración Flamenca featuring guitarist Bienyameen, Robert Jeffery (of the pop group Flat Stanley) on cello and guitar, Robert Davids on cajón and Loreán Swarts as the cantaora. Olé
* Prepare for a huge celebration with Oh Happy Day on 10 and 11 December. The South African Youth Choir collaborates with the popular tenor Jannie Moolman and soprano Zanne Stapelberg for an exciting performance of popular songs, many of which you will not have heard performed quite like this.
* On 16 and 17 December is the dance extravaganza,Fuse, with Cape Town’s iKapa Dance Theatre and the New York based Steps Repertory Ensemble. The evening is comprised of works by world-renowned choreographers who explore peace and reconciliation using themes such as love, war, and healing.
