BACKSBERG Estate Cellars, in association with kykNET, has announced the return of its picnic concert series, which runs from 28 November to 13 February and features a superb musical line-up of South Africa’s best-loved artists – including Karen Zoid (27 November), Lize Beekman (5 December), Koos Kombuis (12 December), James Stewart (9 January), Laudo (aKing) on 16 January, and Wrestlerish (6 February).
Tickets are available from www.ticketbreak.co.za and at selected Musica outlets at R85 (or R150 with a picnic) and R100 at the gate. Children under 12 years get in free, when accompanied by their parents.
Admission to the concert venue starts at 15:00, while the set itself will begin at 17:00.
