Armed robbery at Klapmuts

THOUSANDS of rands were stolen on Friday afternoon at Sanice farm in Klapmuts where sheep are sold directly to the public. Two aremd men ordered a worker to lie on the floor, took the money and fled in a blue Toyota Conquest. But at the junction of the dirt road and the R44, their vehicle ran out of petrol and they were forced to flee on foot. A massive search began which included the use of a police helicopter, but the suspects are still at large.Phone Const Ndevu on 875-8000.
