I WAS really impressed with the Paarl traffic department over the Cultivaria weekend. They were so courteous and considerate to pedestrians in particular. A suggestion to improve quality at traffic circles: the three traffic circles in Paarl are a constant cause of concern and chaos. The traffic circles do not have adequate signage and drivers stay in the outer circle right around the circle until they eventually exit. The traffic circles at the Green Point stadium are marked on the tar, so that there is clarity where one must go in the circle and where and how to exit. I would strongly recommend this in Paarl, where numerous near-misses and accidents take place in and around the traffic circles. Guin Lourens
