Streets will be closed during Festival of Lights

THE Drakenstein Municipality presents the annual Festival of Lights in Paarl from 3 to 5 December and in Wellington on 26 November. A number of well-known artists will be performing, supported by local acts on the stage in Lady Grey Street. Lady Grey Street, New Street as well as some sections of adjacent streets will be closed on 3 and 4 December from 17:30, and on the Sunday from 15:00. Side streets affected are Fabriek Street, Verster Street and New Street. On 26 November, Church Street in Wellington and adjacent streets will be closed from 15:15 to 12:30 due to the Festival of Lights. The stage will be located near the post office. The side streets affected are Jan van Riebeeck Street, Prins Street, Malherbe Street, Rose Street, Bain Street, Fontein Street and Short Street.
