THE Gallery at the Grande Provence Heritage Wine Estate in Franschhoek will host the popular Christmas exhibition called ‘Angels’, which is open from 5 December (11:00) until January.
This exhibition explores ‘Angels’ as a theme through the interpretation of artists and onlookers.
The Angels exhibition will showcase works by leading contemporary South African painters, sculptors, printmakers, photographers and designers.
‘The Pebbles Project’, a community art programme established to enrich the lives of children from disadvantaged backgrounds in the Winelands, will showcase 15 large scale acrylic paintings in the ‘The Project Room’ at ‘The Gallery’.
These paintings will also be on sale and proceeds made will further assist in meeting the dire needs of these children. This will allow them the opportunity to celebrate in the festive spirit of Christmas.
