Ten road races in the Boland league for 2011

THE Boland Athletics 2011 road running league season will again consist of ten half- marathon races evenly spread across the 2011 athletics season. The first race of the 2011 road running league season will be the Prison to Prison road race on 5 February and the final race will be the Dwars River Road Race on 5 November. Boland Athletics will also use the road running league season as preparation for the 2011 SA Marathon, Half-marathon and 10km National Championships respectively. In preparation for the 2011 SA 10km Championships on 22 May, the Prison to Prison 10km road race on 5 February, the Swartland 10km Road Race on 5 March and Rainbow Chickens Road Race on 12 March will serve as qualifying races for the Boland 10km team. In preparation for the 2011 SA Half-marathon Championships in July, the SAD Safari half-marathon on 2 May, the De Doorns half-marathon on 21 May and the Robertson Miles Of Smiles half-marathon races will be used to select the Boland half- marathon team.
