Youth conference

THE Western Cape conference for girls and mothers was held at the Mbekweni community sports centre recently. The theme was “growing and preserving the flowers of the nation”.
It was organised by a non-profit organisation, Qolothani Makhosikazi (work hard women) Social and Cultural Services.
The intention is to make this an annual event targeting girls be-tween the ages of 15 to 18 years to promote social etiquette, values, leadership skills and financial management.
