* Suidoosterfees. Die 8ste Suidoosterfees vind vanaf 25 tot 30 Januarie by die Kunstekaap in Kaapstad plaas. Daar sal verskeie produksies vir jonk en oud op die planke wees. Vir meer besonderhede oor produksies, besoek www.suidoos terfees.co.za.
* Show. The Wineberries will perform at Proviant on Saturday (11 December) from 11:00 to 14:00. Entry is free. Jugs of sangria will be available.
* Concert. Koos Kombuis performs at Backsberg’s Popular Concert Series on 12 December at 17:00. Gates open at 15:00. Tickets are R85 (pre-sale), R100 at the door, or R150 with a picnic. Tickets are available from Musica outlets and online at www.ticketbreak.co.za.
* Eden. Eden will perform at Rhebokskloof on 10 December at 19:30. Gates open at 17:00. Tickets are R130 per person and bookings can be made at Computicket or on-line at www.computicket.co.za.
* Art. The Gallery at the Grand Provence Heritage Wine Estate in Franschhoek is currently hosting a Christmas exhibition called ‘Angels’. This unique exhibition explores ‘Angels’ as a theme through the interpretation of artists and onlookers. The exhibition continues until January.
* Show. The singing group Adagio from Wellington presents a Christmas concert at the URC Bergrivier on Sunday 19 December at 18:30. Adagio is a vocal group known for classical contemporary music. Admission is R20 per person. The proceeds of this function will be used to fund a Christmas meal for the needy which they will hand out.
