South African Airways hosted its 24th Annual Wine Selection in August this year, where a 1 000 local wines were tasted and Leopard’s Leap wines of Franschhoek,were amongst the 48 wines selected for travellers on SAA domestic and international flights. The judging panel consisted of respected local and international judges.
“South African wines are equal to the best the world and we are very pleased with the number and quality of entries we received this year. Whether you are a wine drinker, or a wine maker, you are promised excellent wines when flying with SAA,” says Kim Thipe, SAA Head of Marketing.
Two Leopard’s Leap wines were selected – Leopard’s Leap Merlot 2008 for all domestic and international flights in Economy Class from January – March 2011 and the Leopard’s Leap Chenin Blanc Semi-Sweet 2010 for all domestic and international flights in Premium Class.
