A few days left for Grape Escape

WITH just over 300 entries left for the Grape Escape, the new three-day MTB stage race taking place in March, top cyclists David George and Kevin Evans (Team 360life) have already confirmed their participation. “I’m absolutely looking forward to it. It’s great to have another three-day MTB event, especially for us in the Cape. The timing is right – it’s great preparation for the Cape Epic. “And as if that’s not enough, the Grape Escape’s route includes some of the most beautiful scenery in the country,” said Evans. “We have received almost 400 entries in the last week. I reckon the event will be fully subscribed before 16 December, so best you get your entry in before going on holiday!” said David Bellairs, CEO of the Cape Town Cycle Tour Trust, organisers of the event.
