A big thank you to the Wellington police, fire department, Cape Nature and working on fire for their quick response on Saturday afternoon 11/12/10 when the fire started at the hamlet of Eerste Toll, Bainskloof. As catastrophe was prevented at their prompt arrival, especially under the howling wind conditions. Thank you also to Ms S du Tooi, Mr W Botha (residence of BK) a gentle man from Cotton Cottage, and weekend campers for their help. A very special request to the public visiting sensitive areas like Bainskloof not to start braai fires under severe and dangerous weather conditions. Thank you.
