Walk to see the full moon

ON 19 January everyone who wants to enjoy the sunset over Table Mountain with stunning views of the Winelands and the full moon rising in the east must join the hiking trip to the top of the Klapmutskoppie. The 9,75km hiking starts at the Dirtopia Trail Centre at the Delvera Farm on the R44 between Stellenbosch and Klapmuts. There is also a 5km option with farm vehicle assistance to the half-way mark. The cost is R50 per person which includes a permit and the optional shuttle to the halfway mark and map. Kids under 10 pay R20. The start time is from 18:00 and not later than 19:00.
