* Music. Making More Music School started off with auditions for new learners at the Breytenbach Centre in Wellington. Tuition is offered in guitar, bass guitar, piano, keyboard and drums. Contact Morne Meyer on 072-229-4723.
* Festival. It is time again for the annual pilgrimage to the Breede River for the Up the Creek festival, to celebrate some of our country’s most talented musicians at one of the most magnificent settings in the Western Cape. * Jazz. The Cape Town jazz sound will be back in the Winelands at the Rhebokskloof Estate on Sunday 27 February. Bring your picnic baskets and braai (gas only) and come and enjoy this end of summer jazz concert. Call 021-869-8386 for enquiries.
