New band to hit the stage

A NEW R&B soul quartet called Rocfyre has been launched, including local singers who are recognised and respected in the music industry. This amazing group is made up of the talented twin brothers Clement and Clinton Bastiaan, the extraordinary Richard Hala and international phenomenon O’Ryan Winter. Hala, a previous scholar of Weltevrede Secondary School, rose to fame in 2007, when he was amongst the top 11 male finalists of the very popular, and tough, music contest, Idols. Although the group has only been formed recently, each artist has many years of musical experience independently and their first single ‘Tonight’ has already created quite a hype in the local community.
