ON Saturday and Sunday from 08:00 to 17:00, South Africans can register to vote for the local government election which will be held before the end of May. If you have turned 18 since the last elec-tion, or have moved to a new address, visit the voting station nearest your home to register. All voting stations remain the same as before, with the exception of Noord-Eind Primary (register at a tent in Vygie Street), Paarl Police College (register at Boland College), Navolgers van Christus Church (register at LK Zeeman Primary) and Dal Josaphat Stadium (register at Our Little People Nursery School). For enquiries, phone the IEC office on 021-872-8213. Residents who cannot register this week-end, can go to the IEC office at the Paarl town hall on weekdays. To verify registra- tion details, call 0800-11-8000 toll free on a landline, or visit the IEC website at www.elections.org.za or send an SMS with your ID number to 32810.
