THE Rotary Club of Paarl, as a service to our community, is arranging a lecture by SEESA on 23 February at 19:00 at Boys’ High’s Brug Street clubhouse, where you will have the opportunity to listen to a professional explaining the Consumer Protection Act and answering any questions you may have.
At the end of March, when this Act comes into effect, consumers will gain many new rights. This can have serious implications for businesses, affecting matters like guarantees and refunds.
Rotary invites all small and large business owners, as well as consumers, to attend this lecture so that they can familiarise themselves with this act. Snacks will be served free of charge. There will be a donations box to cover costs and a cash bar.
