ALMOST half a million rand was stolen during a cash heist last week. The incident took place on Wednesday at the Coca-Cola depot in Zuidmeer Street, Huguenot.
Two armed men ambushed a cash-in-transit official outside the depot, after he had collected a cash box.
They ordered him to lie on the ground, seized the box and fled in different directions. In total R400 800 was stolen.
