* Exhibitions. An exhibition of new paintings and sculptures by MJ Lourens, titled ‘Expectations’, will run until 23 March at The Gallery at Grande Provence.
* An exhibition of works by Jacqueline Crewe-Brown and Angus Taylor can be seen at Is Art Gallery in Franschhoek until 15 March
* Konsert. Een van Mimi Haasbroek Sangskool se jong studente, Tristen Parish, hou Saterdag 26 Februarie om 19:00 by die Ou Meul-teater ’n solokonsert. Kaartjies is R40 (R20 vir skoliere). * Under the stars. The RMB Starlight Classics concert with international singing sensation Katherine Jenkins and South Africa’s first lady of song, Sibongile Khumalo, will take place on Friday 4 March at 19:30 and on Saturday 5 March at 19:00 on the Great Lawn at Vergelegen in Somerset West. Also in the line-up are Jonathon Roxmouth and Roelof Colyn (A Handful of Keys), tenor James Bemgee, and the Manenberg-based drumming group Limited Addition Drum Corps. John Beveridge combines his gymnastic and tumbling background in a showstopping Precision Strength Adagio Act with partners Barbra Costas and Cristian Brezeanu. The audience is invited to bring their own picnics, blankets and low fold-up chairs. Cheese, wine and coffee will be available to purchase on the night. Gates open at 16:00. Tickets cost R160 per person (R140 for children/pensioners) for the Friday and R180 per person (R160 for children/pensioners) for the Saturday. Tickets can be purchased through Computicket.
