* Exhibitions. An exhibition of new paintings and sculptures by MJ Lourens, titled ‘Expectations’, will run until 23 March at The Gallery at Grande Provence.
* An exhibition of works by Jacqueline Crewe-Brown and Angus Taylor can be seen at Is Art Gallery in Franschhoek until 15 March.
* Winternagte. Kom ervaar nostalgie én bewondering wanneer Hoër Jongenskool Paarl se vokale ensemble op 8 Maart om 20:15 gehore op ’n reis neem deur die lewe van patriot en digter Eugène Marais, aan die hand van voorlesings en toonsettings uit die skrywer se mooiste gedigte en prosawerk. Marissa van Zyl tree op as solis en begeleier. Die opvoering vind plaas by US Konservatorium tydens die Woordfees in Stellenbosch. Kaartjies is R50 by Computicket.
* Classics. The RMB Starlight Classics concert with international singing sensation Katherine Jen-kins and South Africa’s first lady of song, Sibongile Khumalo, will take place on Friday 4 March at 19:30 and on Saturday 5 March at 19:00 on the Great Lawn at Vergelegen in Somerset West. Tickets can be purchased through Computicket.
* Old Mill Theatre. The singer Andra can be seen at the Old Mill Theatre on Saturday 5 March at 20:00. Tickets to her show cost R70 and bookings can be made with Vicky Stemmet on 083-564-0056. Visit www.andra.co.za.
