Metrorail guard in court
2011-03-03
THE case against a Metrorail security guard, who allegedly attacked a commuter in November, continues today. The accused, Sibongiseni Magubudela, appeared briefly in court for allegedly beating commuter Pieter Mouton (29) at the Huguenot train station in Paarl. Mouton was thrown off a train last year, after he boarded a first class carriage, with a third class ticket. He claimed that he feared for his safety, as third class was full. There was a scuffle when he was removed from the carriage and he ended up with a bleeding head.
