I urge all Ward 9 residents (Mbekweni) to speak with one voice regarding nomination of municipal candidates for council, otherwise we will crumble into oblivion. The reality of the situation is not only will we have a candidate that we didn’t wish for, but we will be left with bitter tastes in our mouths.
The only thing to do is for us to accept the situation or let our voices be heard, otherwise we will let ourselves be dictated to and thus won’t be able to be governed and led by those who we chose.
I foresee things falling apart at Ward 9 as our recent history will tell, it’s high time that we do away with factionalism and seek a common goal, to prevent conflict.
