Take part in funkathon

GET your tights and trainers ready and join in for the Virgin Active National Funkathon for charity taking place on 26 March from 11:00 to 12:00 at all club studios. Virgin Active is inviting all members and a partner (not limited to club members), for an hour long fitness feast to celebrate the recently launched “Funk Off” dance class. A donation box will be set up in each of the clubs in a bid to raise funds for a registered, non-profit organisation, MaAfrika Tikkun, an organisation that is close to our hearts.” MaAfrika Tikkun currently operates in informal settlements providing support to orphans and vulnerable children. The ‘Funkathon’ is based on ‘Funk Off’, the fun new group exercise dance class which was launched exclusively by Virgin Active in February this year. The class incorporates various dance genres and exercise moves in a fun class. The class offers a full cardio based work-out and is suitable for any age group or fitness level as you decide how much effort to put into it.
