THE 2011 Franschhoek Harvest Festival with traditional live Cape music, food and vastrap celebrates the end of the harvest at Solms-Delta Wine Estate on Saturday from 11:00 to 21:00.
Performers include Soli Philander (MC), Radio Kalahari Orkes, Valiant Swart and Ollie Viljoen, Stef Bos, Tribal Echo, Hannes Coetzee, Brasse vannie Kaap and Les Javan. Enjoy unique Cape sounds of vastrap, langarm, Cape jazz, goema, klopse, and boeremusiek by Philip de Villiers and the Blinde Boereorkes, the Papier Familie and many more.
Authentic Cape dishes will be available throughout the day. Tickets cost R110 online from www.ticketbreak.co.za or at Solms-Delta Wine Estate (on the R45 to Franschhoek). Tickets will also be available from Musica outlets for R120, or at the gate for R130.
