Sportathon in Paarl Mall on Saturday

ROCK Community Care is to hold a fundraising Sportathon at the Paarl Mall this Saturday in the Mr Price courtyard. Competitors on treadmills and gym bikes will be there from 9am to 5pm, exercising their way to raise financial support for the valuable community projects that Rock Community Care is involved in. The competitors are being sponsored by their friends, family and community for their distance covered or time period spent exercising. Some of the cyclists will be riding for the entire duration of the event! Virgin Active are partnering with Rock Community Care for this event and all the equipment has been provided by them. A raffle for the awesome prize of a cricket shirt signed by the Cape Cobras Team will be held on the day so that onlookers can stand a chance to walk away as winners. Local support and participation ensures the continuation of the vital work which Rock Community Care is involved in across the Paarl Valley! Credit card facilities will be available for donations that can be made on the day.
