Top local clubs ready for sevens tournament

THE rugby club of Young Peoples is hosting its annual Young Peoples/SR Radiators Sevens Tournament on 30 April at the Dal Josaphat stadium. Ten of the top clubs in Paarl will take part in this tournament where Lower Paarl (Blues), the current champions, will try and defend its crown this year. The juniors will start at 09:00 and Young Standards and Evergreens will start the senior games at 10:00. The clubs who will play in this tournament are Young Peoples, Albions, Violets, Riverstones, Paarl Rangers, Young Gardens, Lower Paarl, Windmeul, Young Standards and Evergreens. Strict security will be in place with no liquor to be brought to the stadium. Bar facilities will be available. The entry fee is R10 (R3 for u.12s) and R5 for cars.
