I bought around R600 worth of groceries at a big supermarket and when I checked, I found that the cashier bought herself R30 worth of airtime on my account.
Some of the groceries were also priced wrong on the shelf, and I ended up paying R5 more for three of the items. To my relief, the manager of the shop did not object to paying me back the money.
Seeing that we are often in a hurry, and the shops are busy at this time of the year, it could pay to do a little checking after shopping.
