A MAN from Franschhoek has been arrested for his wife’s murder.

Annelize Arendse (32) was found dead last week on Montagne Farm. She had been struck on the head with a metal pipe.

According to the spokesperson for Franschhoek police, Cst Marize Papier, Arendse had spent the evening with her cousin, after a row with her husband, Abie Arendse.

When Abie came looking for his wife, an argument again ensued, during which she was allegedly struck on the head with a metal pipe.

Abie was arrested on a charge of murder.
