Springbok rugby legends at gala dinner

A PRESTIGIOUS gala dinner will be held on Friday 10 June at Du Toit’s Kloof Wines out-side Rawsonville in support of Paarl Gymnasium High School’s rugby fundraising. Gymmies earned their reputation as one of South Africa’s top Springbok rugby ‘breeders’ by contributing richly to Springbok rugby through the years. Legendary players such as Schalk Burger, Jean de Villiers, Pieter Rossouw, De Wet Barry, Louis Koen, Kobus Wiese, Balie Swart and many more once walked the halls of this school. The evening will include an informative rugby talk by Pieter Rossouw, an entertaining session with Kobus Wiese and Toks van der Linde, aptly named “Oor die portvate”, a fun rugby quiz, great prizes and musical entertainment by John McGrath. Guests will have the opportunity to meet Springboks Pieter Rossouw, Kobus Wiese, Toks van der Linde, Chris Rossouw and Louis Koen. Tickets to this elegant event are limited and cost R750 per person. Included are a three-course meal, wine pairing with your meal, all the entertainment for the evening, a complimentary wine gift pack plus free transport to and from Paarl and Durbanville.
