THE Nedbank Small Business Services will present a seminar for small businesses at Nelson Wine Estate on 20 June from 09:30 to 13:30.
The seminars are aimed at equipping owners of small businesses with advice on how to run their businesses more efficiently. The seminars aim to provide free, practical advice through presentations on topics such as ‘A seven step plan to get your business flying’ presented by entrepreneur and motivational speaker Michael Said, and ‘Financial management made easy’ presented by Thayn Niemand, an expert in business and financial planning.
The South African government’s focus on job creation at national, regional and local levels, is undoubtedly the right approach towards the achievement of sustainable economic and social development in the country as a whole.
The fact that much of this focus is aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), demonstrates the government’s recognition of the potential that exists in this sector. The SMEs can act as primary drivers of the government’s employment creation agenda, in a sustainable, robust and economically resilient manner.
