Hunt for Mbekweni women's killer

MBEKWENI police are still searching for any information which could lead to the arrest of a murder suspect. This comes after Theresa Wambi (29) was found murdered on an open field next to the Vlakkeland Road. According to Mbekweni police, an eyewitness summoned them after seeing a man fighting with a woman. On their arrival they found the body of Wambi (29), who had been stabbed in the neck. The eyewitness also said that they had seen a man, who was wearing brown pants, run to Jan van Riebeeck Drive where he boarded a taxi. Anyone who can help the police in identifying the suspect, is asked to contact WO Nico Stevens at 082 777 5943 or 021 868 9926 with information.
