Indigenous Games final in Paarl on 16 June

COME and watch the children play dibeki, skaloeloe, drieblikkies, marabaraba, rope skipping, kliperare and do stick fighting at the final of Drakenstein Municipality’s Indigenous Games. The games will be held at the Monte Christo sports ground in New Orleans, on 16 June at 10:00. Since March this year, the Indigenous Games co-ordinators and assistants have conducted coaching and playing sessions with the children at the Drakenstein library, Amstelhof community square, Groenheuwel community square, Mbekweni sports grounds, Weltevrede sports grounds, Gouda sports grounds and Simondium Primary School.
