THE Drakenstein Heritage Foundation will go on an outing to Muizenberg on 9 July to visit the Natale Labia Museum and the old Post House.
The group will depart from Church Square next to the Strooidak Church at 08:30. After visiting Casa Labia, they will enjoy scones and tea and then walk along the historic mile to Kalk Bay, viewing the Posthuis, Old Post Office, Carnegie Library (now Police Museum), Knight’s Villa, Bailey’s cottage and many more.
The outing will end with lunch near the harbour, returning to Muizenberg by train. Book at 082 656 3994. In case of rain, the outing will be postponed.
