THE Boland Cycling Youth Team participated in the inaugural 2011 Youth Cycling Festival that was held in Oudtshoorn this week.
The Boland team was represented by Daniston Perrins (u.12) Keanu Slinger, George Perrins, Luc Green (u.14) Graeme Ockhuis, Damian Vaughan, Franklin Stoffels, Lee-Arthur Green, Ivan Venter, Angelo Diedericks and Byron Louw (u.16) and Dino Daniels and Lendel Hendricks (juniors).
Amongst these youngsters are a heap of talented riders, says Ian Goetham of Boland Cycling. Some of them have impressive achievements and already won South African titles on the track and road.
The Boland Cycling Union financially assisted these youngsters to give them the opportunity and enable them to participate in the 2011 Youth Cycling Festival.
