* Reunion. Former students and teachers of HS van der Walt High School are planning a reunion for next year at the old school (now the lower campus of Boland College in Paarl). * Vollies hou busrit. Die Paarl en Wellington Vollies bied aan ’n busrit na Houtbaai en Grand West op Saterdag 23 Julie om 07:00. Daar sal ’n verrassing wees in Houtbaai. Kaartjies is R130 per persoon en kan bespreek word by Jorrie Jordaan by 082 768 4386.
* Market. The Lazy Days Market at Laborie estate brings a South African winter Christmas market to Paarl for the first time this year on Saturday 23 July – with a myriad of experiences in store. Many Christmas delicacies will be on offer by stallholders. The market will be open from 09:00 until 14:00.
* Ploegdag. ’n Ploegdag word gehou op 23 Julie te Abbotsdale, Malmesbury. Daar gaan ’n markiestent met verversings, kontantkroeg, boeremusiek, stalletjies, teetuin en springkasteel wees. Daar sal ook ’n 5km pretstap wees en die rugby sal op ’n groot skerm gewys word. Daar is kampeergeriewe vanaf die Vrydagaand beskikbaar teen R50 per staanplek vir die naweek.
