AN 11-year-old girl narrowly escaped death on Sunday evening, when hit by a bullet.
The incident occurred in Silvertown, Mbekweni, when two men were arguing.

According to eyewitnesses, one of the men produced a firearm and fired a shot.

The bullet then struck Sikelelwa Nukoni, who was standing on the other side of the road, in the stomach.

Siyabulela Magcayi (27) was arrested in connection with the incident.

Nukoni was taken to Paarl Hospital where she is in a stable condition.
