I AM assisting at the Wellington SPCA where we care for dogs, cats and horses.
We want to build walls around the SPCA to secure all the animals and make sure they, as well as the staff, are safe. I have started a project called ‘Securing a Future for our Companions” to raise money for the wall as well as to make some changes in the kennels and shelters for the animals.
We want to get 45 companies to donate R1000 each (or more) so that we can make this difference.
We share our lives with some amazing animals and it is time we care for their futures.
The Wellington SPCA is struggling to buy cat litter (sand), as well as dog and cat food at the moment.
