The movies Roepman (16LVP), Cars 2 (PG) and The Green Lantern (10) can be seen this week (22 to 28 July) at Mini Max in Paarl.
* The South African movie, Roepman, is set in a "poor white" community in Durban in the 1960's. They follow events through the eyes of an eleven year old boy, whose family is trapped within the structural violence caused by the government and the church at the time.
* In Cars 2, Star race car Lightning McQueen and his pal Mater head overseas to compete in the World Grand Prix race. But the road to the championship becomes rocky as Mater gets caught up in an intriguing adventure of his own: international espionage.
* In The Green Lantern, a test pilot is granted a mystical green ring that bestows him with otherworldly powers, as well as membership into an intergalactic squadron tasked with keeping peace within the universe.
Ticket prices for all shows are R32. Booking times are Mondays to Saturdays from 09:00
