* Pastor visits. The Lighthouse Family Church in Paarl is hosting a meeting with Pastor Langton Gatsi from Zimbabwe on Sunday 24 July at Charleston Hill Secondary School at 17:00. Pastor Gatsi is the Founder of One Way Ministries in Harare, Zimbabwe. He is also a former lecturer of the Universities of Zimbabwe (Faculty of Medicine) and Stellenbosch, a member of the Council of European and African Reconciliation, member of the Council of Elders in Zimbabwe and serves on the Council of Elders for All Nations Convocations in Jerusalem. Pastor Gatsi places much emphasis on Prayer Networking throughout Zimbabwe, Africa and internationally. Admission is free. * Women’s Day. Kuier magazine will be hosting their premier Women’s Day event on 6 August at the Grand West Market Hall from 09:00 to 15:00, titled ‘Pienk Plesier’ with guests of honour mayor Patricia de Lille. Tickets are R70 at Computicket. Entertainment will be provided by idol Karin Kortjé, Natalie da Rocha and Mady. Shaleen Surtie-Richards will be the hostess for the day. A cooking demonstration will take place with the Kuier food editor, Karen Hart, as well as a live fashion show with the sassy fashion and beauty editor at Kuier, Vania Cloete-Collison.
