WHAT do the sultry rhythms of Brazil, the haunting beauty of the Turkish coastline and an Australian mythical bird all have in common?
Well, all three have provided the inspiration for works in James Grace’s exciting and varied programme Around the World in 60 Minutes which you can enjoy on 19 August at 20:00 at Die Bôrdienghuis Theatre at the Breytenbach Centre.
James Grace will take you on a six string musical journey around the world starting in Brazil, heading down to Paraguay, crossing over to America, then travelling to Turkey, making a quick stop in South Africa, then over to Australia before ending in the guitar’s birthplace, Spain.
No visas required for this journey!
James is the Kanna award winner for Best Male Artist at the 2010 Absa KKNK and he is one of South Africa’s leading concert artists.
