Archery club receives new target buds

>IT was a great day for the Paarl Archery Club Nelson’s Creek when they recently received four brand new target buds, through a grant from the National Archery Association (SAANA). Chairman of the club, Klaus Schnack, gave his thanks to the chairman of the Western Province Archery Association, Leon van Niekerk, who, through his efforts and dedication, made this event possible. “It is important for a young archery club to have target buds of a given standard, when they want to offer provincial tournaments approved by SAANA,” Van Niekerk said. “We are still in need of at least six more buds, to make this happen,” Schnack added.
